Jude and Kane are back at Woodlands, and once again it’s through no fault of their own. These handsome black and white brothers found what should have been their happily ever after, but a landlord’s new no-pets clause meant their family could no longer keep them. This is the second time these young boys have lost their home. Their first family had to give them up because of financial difficulties. Through all of it, the one constant in their lives has been each other.

That bond is exactly why Jude and Kane will now only be rehomed together. They’re littermates who have grown up side by side, shared every move and every unfamiliar room, and leaned on each other each time their world has turned upside down. Having already lost two homes, losing each other is the one thing we won’t ask them to go through. Together they’re confident, settled and happy. Apart, they’d be facing yet another loss on top of everything else.

Both boys are genuine lap cats who love nothing more than curling up with their people for cuddles and affection. They’re wonderfully playful, full of fun and energy, yet just as happy to simply be close to the people they love. Jude is described as a particularly nice boy, and Kane is every bit as friendly and easygoing. They’ve proven themselves comfortable with children of all ages and with other cats, so they’d suit a family home well. At just under two years old, they have many active, healthy years ahead of them. They’re suited to indoor living or a home away from busy roads.

What Jude and Kane need now is certainty. We’re looking for a family whose circumstances are secure and who can commit to these brothers for the rest of their lives. If you rent, please make sure you have your landlord’s written permission before applying. These boys have already lost one home this way, and we want their next move to be their last. For the right family, Jude and Kane will bring double the love, double the fun, and a whole lot of lap time.
