We are looking for volunteers. People, who want to become a part of the Woodlands family and help us continue doing the life changing work we do.
Whether that's helping look after the animals, fundraising, cleaning, organising or even using skills they have to help us improve what we do in any capacity. We are having a Volunteer open afternoon on Sunday 4th Jan, here at the Sanctuary in Holmeswood from 1-3pm. If you think you have some time you would like to spend with us, or skills you think would be helpful, please come along on the 4th, meet the team, ask questions and find out how you can be a part of life changing work, right here in your local area.
Volunteer
Our volunteers offer both onsite and offsite aid which is truly beneficial to Woodlands and our animals. Volunteering can be extremely rewarding and gives you a chance to meet new people and also a chance to learn and develop a wide range of skills.
Animal Carer for a Day
An insight of how animals are cared for here at Woodlands, the carer for a day shadows one of our experienced staff for an extraordinary opportunity.
Fundraise
As Woodlands receives no government funding we rely solely on donations and fundraising events. We welcome anybody who would like to hold an event or collection for us, this may be at your place of work, school or at your house!
Events
We hold a variety of events throughout the year. All proceeds from these events go straight towards the running costs of Woodlands Animal Sanctuary.
Remember us in your Will
Legacy donations allow us to plan for the future in a way that no other gift can. Donations left to the Sanctuary via your will are a great way to guarantee that we continue the work we do.
Amazon Wish List
Our Amazon wish list is updated regularly and contains much needed equipment and food which helps us to care for our animals to the high standards that we do.
