Our volunteers
Woodlands would not be what it is, nor the thousands of lives saved, if not for those who freely give their time, energy and passion towards our mission as volunteers.
Whether it is sorting donations at one of our hubs, mucking stables out, cuddling cats, painting enclosures, organising parking at one of our events, or rattling tins for donations, our volunteers are the oil that keeps the engine running smoothly.
We are extremely lucky to have the support of over 170 passionate people who come to help from all walks of life, in all sorts of weather, and for all sorts of jobs that need doing.
They might be unpaid, but they are definitely not underappreciated. Like the animals they help us to rescue and rehabilitate, we just don'thave the words to thank them enough for what they do.
