Iris and Rori
Iris arrived in March and, like many of our rescues this year, was abandoned due to the financial costs of her previous owner having additional mouths to feed. All of which could easily have been prevented if they'd neutered Iris in the first place.
She was therefore left at a vets with 5 little one week old kittens and an uncertain fate - until we got the call.
Despite being callously dumped by her previous 'family' Iris showed that she knows what true love and responsibility is and became a model mum herself. After weaning, four of her kittens were quickly rehomed, but as kittens cannot be rehomed alone this left number 5 and Iris in a bit of a pickle. However, fortune shines on those who deserve it and Iris and her final kitten, now named Rori, followed shortly after - not just finding companions deserving of the word 'family' but a home that, this time, will be theirs forever.
