Dolly and Beanie
Beanie and Dolly are a mother, daughter combination. They are just two of the 350 animals we have at the shelter at any one time. They came to Woodlands in November 2014 after their owner could no longer cope with them. Beanie was very underweight and thought to be pregnant again. A scan later on revealed that she wasn’t pregnant. Both of the girls were riddled in worms, mites and ringworm requiring extensive treatment.
Beanie and Dolly now go out for education visits to schools and other organisations. They have a stable each next to each other in the stable block at the shelter.
