Felix - a friend for life

Felix came to us when his beloved owner sadly passed away, leaving this 5-year-old black and white domestic shorthair looking for someone new to share his affections with. Having been a cherished companion, he's accustomed to being someone's loyal sidekick and closest confidant.

This trusting, friendly chap has clearly known love and security, and it shows in his gentle, open nature. Felix is the sort of cat who forms proper bonds with his people – he was his owner's best friend and he's ready to be yours too.

Felix would thrive in a calm household with older children (14+) who can appreciate his steady, companionable character. He's looking for someone who understands that the best relationships are built on mutual devotion and quiet moments together.

Our Rehoming Process

At Woodlands Animal Sanctuary we understand the importance of placing our animals in the right forever home. That’s why we ensure that all applicants go through the same three-stage process. This helps us to ensure not only the animals safety, but that you and your new friend are the perfect match.

Application

Our rehoming process begins with you filling out an application form that you will find at the bottom of this page. This filled application will be sent to our team. We will then contact you via phone, and go over the rehoming process with you and get to know you a bit better too, just to make sure there is a perfect match between you and the chosen cat!
You can also arrange an appointment to view an adult cat before you make your decision!

Home Visit

If your application has been approved, your details and application will be passed onto our Trustees, in which one will contact you and perform a home visit over the phone.
Once approved, we will arrange an appointment with you to pick up your new friend, as well as their food and litter that you can purchase at the shop that shares the same site as the sanctuary.

Rehoming

Once you have arrived, you will just need to sign the relevant paper work, as well as paying the donation fee via BACS, cash, cheque!
