Get involved
At Woodlands, we're not just talking about rescuing and rehoming animals. We look to tackle the tough stuff and underlying causes that most people aren't aware of or ignore.
Whether we're fighting the brutal impacts of the cost of living crisis, rescuing animals from hoarding situations, prevention through education or breaking cycles of harm, we believe in pro-active action.
Our corporate partnerships are all about turning compassion into real-world solutions, bringing together businesses and communities to create meaningful, lasting change.

Ways to partner with us
Matched funding
Match Funding is when an organisation matches the amount an employee donates or fundraises for their chosen charities up to a set amount.
It is a great way to motivate your employees in their own fundraising efforts - knowing that what they raise will be doubled or topped up; making for great messaging when it comes to telling people how much your organisation has helped to raise.

Teambuilding Days
Come along and work with us on some of our projects or day to day activities, and give your staff time away from the office creating valuable experiences, shared bonding time and maybe even learning some new skills. All in a good cause.
Whether it is helping us to build new pens, repair and paint existing ones, or time cuddling cats - we have something for everyone. Helping us by providing essential support at no cost.

Gifts in kind
Gifts in kind are always a big help to us as it means that we can reduce costs on things that we need in the day to day operarions of running a rescue.
Gifts can be anything from wood, screws and paint needed for maintaining our pens, special food for new born kittens and mums, offering specialist services such as vetinary treatments, right through to items and infrastructure such as marquees for our open events.

Payroll giving
Payroll giving allows employees to donate to Woodlands directly from their gross salary before tax is deducted, which means the donation is made tax-free. This method enables individuals to support our causes effortlessly, with the donation being automatically taken from their paycheck and processed through the employer's payroll system, potentially reducing the amount of tax they pay whilst supporting our mission.
Sponsorship
Position your brand values alongside our mission through sponsoring us.
Sponsorship opportunities include sponsoring our stables and pens, our events, and even co-partnering on our fundraising campaigns. Sponsoring these helps you to get your brand and association out there to our database and audience of over 15,000 animal lovers whilst raising vital funds.

Challenge events
Are you, or one of your colleagues, someone who tests themselves through partaking in long hikes, tough mudder, extreme sports, skydiving etc or someone that just loves a new challenge and the adrenaline rush?
Set yourself a challenge to push yourself beyond your current boundaries or face fears to raise funds and awareness for animals who have faced a lifetime of uncertainty.

Monthly events
Fundraising doesn't always have to be big. By running small but regular events you can keep your staff engaged in our mission, have a bit of light hearted fun, and provide a regular income stream for us.
Running monthly events like a quiz, dress up / down day, and charging a couple of £s to participate can add up to a sizeable total by the end of the year. Check out our fundraising guide for ideas.

Supporting Community Needs
- Many of our rescues occur because of underlying societal issues:
- Which in turn creates a need to rescue where we have:
- Cost of living making feeding, insurance, vet treatment or neutering unaffordable.
- Lack of education on proper care, and associated costs of ownership.
- Lack of education on breeds and behaviour resulting in unsuitable homing scenarios
- Changes in circumstances in domestic household.
- Mental health issues resulting in over breeding and hoarding.
- Animals, usually with severe injuries or ailments, which require urgent treatment
- Animals with behavioural issues, or are abused / too unsocialised for immediate rehoming
- Rescues who are heavily pregnant and in poor health.
- Rescues who are severely malnourished, and flea infested.
