Woodlands Family Fun Day Raises over £9000

Family Fun Day September 4th

Woodlands Animal Sanctuary Family Fun Day 2016 was the best yet! Raising the sanctuary just over £9000!

The day started at 11am and ran until 4pm! Crowds of people flocked to the sanctuary to join in with the fun.

Crowds were entertained by Scoop Magic, Dancing dogs, reptile parades, birds of prey and a fun show! The fun dog was our busiest yet, judged by Ian Fraser from Rufford Veterinary group. There were twelve classes and each of them had very big entries. Fun was had by all! Best in Show went to Erin Davies and Lottie.

We had lots of stalls from Jewellery to Tombola's each one was very popular, refreshments were kept very busy, we launched a new vegan stall at the fun day and that went down a treat along with the traditional BBQ. There was much fun had at the dunking stool, a very brave lady called Vicky sat on the stool for the whole day and went in the tank on several occasions!

We would like to thank everyone that attended the day, donated items towards it and all the volunteers who made it happen both before and on the day! Many thanks to you all for your continued support.
